We are excited to announce this planned breeding and thank Janice Gunn for the opportunity to breed Gin to Sparks. He is a very accomplished, titled and talented young boy and the journey has just begun.
Our goal for this breeding is to produce intelligent, athletic, sound retrievers with lots of drive, speed, focus and strong work ethic. Paired together these should be really fun pups for experienced homes to participate in performance venues (obedience, rally, agility, tracking) and hunt tests. Both Sparks and Gin have fun loving personalities, solid Golden temperaments and a good off switch in the house. The puppy pedigree has a low inbreeding coefficient and is a wonderful blend of outstanding performance and field Goldens that have excelled in many venues.
About Sparks from his owner Janice Gunn of TNT Kennels;
"Sparks was born on July 4th in the USA and I picked his name appropriately to match the well known day of celebration. Sparks was an easy going puppy, and gets along well with our other two intact Labrador males and our female Golden Pounce. We live on acreage and Sparks gets daily runs and training, which is important for a working bred dog. He pedigree has top agility, obedience and field dogs in it, and my focus for Sparks is obedience and hunt tests. He is excelling in both.
Sparks is 68 lbs and stands 23” high. He has good bone and structure. I love his coat, it dries in a heartbeat which is wonderful as he loves the water, it has a loose wave to it and he has a full mane, pants and tail which are lighter in colour than his coat, he is extremely handsome! Sparks is a sweet, kind, gentle, and compassionate dog. When my husband got an infection in the Fall and was in the hospital for 6 weeks, Sparks was always by my side to comfort me. In the evenings I was exhausted and would fall asleep watching TV, never missing one night, Sparks would ensure he woke me up and would then lead me to bed and curl up beside me. It was incredibly endearing, he is my very best friend and he was my caretaker. Sparks is easy to live with, he likes to pack his toys around and show them off, and when he greets me and is very happy he holds onto my sleeve. He has the perfect temperament. I adore him!
Sparks has amazing focus and want to work. As a two year old, he has already achieved upper level accolades in both the field and obedience. It is an honour to be by his side in the ring or on the field line. He is truly a golden achiever and a very, very special boy." For more information please visit Spark's Webpage
