Trigger & Soleil both have an OFA Good Hip Clearance, OFA Normal Elbows, current normal Eye Exams (within 12 months & Trigger's will be sent in to OFA), OFA Normal Heart clearance by a Board Certified Cardiologist (Trigger's will be sent to OFA), normal thyroid function, they are not on any medications and have had no skin allergies, seizures or other auto-immune disorders. Soleil is an ICT and PRA-prcd Carrier but Trigger is clear which means NO puppy can be affected.

We are very excited about this pairing and thank Louise & Rick Roberts for the opportunity to breed Soleil to Trigger. The pedigree combination combines some outstanding field, performance and obedience competitors with wonderful longevity. Trigger's sire Dare is going strong at 16.5 yrs of age, still attending training days and retreiving and his dam just turned 15. All of Soleil's grandparents and great grandparents on the dam's and sire's side lived over 13 years - 16 years of age and her Granddam Jenny is still going strong at 13.5. We are hopeful this will continue in their descendants.
Our goal for this breeding is to produce intelligent hunting companions that are very athletic, biddable, can be easily trained in any venue, and become a wonderful family member. Both Trigger and Soleil have dynamic personalities and they love to work, need a job to do, but they also easily settle in the house. The puppy pedigree has a pretty low inbreeding coefficient and there are some strong field competitors in the 5 generations so we do expect these puppies will need experienced active homes.
I have known Trigger since he was a young adolescent male when he first peaked our interest that this is a boy to watch. He is a good looking, moderate, athletic retriever with a wonderful Golden temperament. He is a great family dog, easily travels from home to grandparents busy house, wonderful with children and gets along well with all dogs, can run with other intact males without issue and is very tolerant and playful with young puppies. He always gives very good effort in training even and is a strong fast hunting retreiver both on land and water.

Soleil is from our Bebop Litter (Edge x Kikki) and she has some endearing qualities from both sire and dam. She is on an amazing journey with her owner Kelsi and they are a great team.
