Both Quihnn & Kikki have an OFA Hip Clearances (Fair) with all Kikk's littermates Good or Exc and Quihnn's siblings are just doing clearances, so far Good. Both Quihnn & Kikki have OFA Normal Elbows, Current Eye clearances within 12 months, Board Certified Cardiologist Heart clearances, normal thyroid function, not on any medications, have had no skin allergies, seizures or other auto-immune disorders. Quihnn & Kikki are PRA-prcd, PRA-1 Clear and ICT Carriers.

Our goal for this breeding is to produce intelligent, hunting / test/ trial companions that are athletic, biddable, can be easily trained in any venue, and become a member of the family. The pedigree is a wonderful blend of field competitors, conformation and obedience dogs. Some of the influential dogs in the pedigree include Kikki's sire -Riley was a very strong field compeitor in the 1990's accumulating 13 ALL age points in 15 trials, winning the 1995 GRCA Open and an ALL Breed Amateur 1st place. Her grandsire Rooster was a *** Golden with over 50 Master Hunt passes lifetime. Quihnn' sire Manny is an amazing boy, GRCA Dual Dog Hall of Fame, BISS, HRCH and ** with a wonderful biddable temperament. His dam Sierra is just one pass away from her CKC MH and earned her HRCH passing straight tests all owner handled & trained.

Information on Quihnn:
Quihnn is the only male from our Wing Litter (Manny x Sierra). He stood out as a baby puppy and is maturing into a biddable sound athletic working Golden. Quihnn lives with his owner Diane Burrows in Port Alberni BC and is being trained for CKC SH test, Tracking, Obedience and is pointed in the Can Show ring. Although young he is proven to be an exceptional working dog with focus, good play and prey drive, fast bird pick up and strong water courage. He has a nice balance between drive, birdiness and biddability with an exceptional temperament. He lives with other intact males, plays well with all dogs/ puppies, loves kids and has a good off switch in the house.
Comformationally, Quihnn is maturing and filling out into a beautiful nicely balanced boy. He stands 23 1/2 at the withers, well muscled and weighs 73lbs. He has a lovely soft expression with dark eyes, dark pigment, good ear set and correct scissors bite with full dentition. His front is powerful with good depth of chest, rib spring, nice upper arm and shoulder layback. If we could fault him right now it would be slightly long in appearance but he still hasn't finished filling out. His rear is stronger as he has matured with good angles, tail set & carriage. We are super excited to watch this boy mature, he will just get better and better.
